Account Manager (Remote)

Position Summary:
As an Account Manager for Junior, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of our law-firm and corporate IP clients, from onboarding through renewal. You will act as the main point of contact for client firms using Junior, drive adoption of our patent-drafting AI platform, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned clients (law firms and IP departments) using the Junior platform.
- Onboard new clients: coordinate implementation, training sessions, user-adoption tracking, and first-use results.
- Monitor client usage metrics (e.g., drafting volumes, agent-library growth, review cycles) and report on ROI and value (e.g., time saved, increased throughput).
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients: review performance, gather feedback, identify feature requests, and propose improvements.
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (e.g., expansion of agent libraries, additional modules, jurisdictional templates).
- Serve as internal advocate for clients: relay client needs to product/engineering teams, inform product roadmap from the field.
- Participate in renewal negotiations, contract expansions and ensure timely payment and contract compliance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the patent-drafting workflow, including claims drafting, specification review, office-action response, to be a credible advisor to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of account management or customer success experience in a SaaS company (preferably legal-tech or AI-driven platforms).
- Familiarity with the IP / patent industry (law firms, corporate IP groups) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage senior patent practitioners and firm leadership.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with usage metrics, ROI modelling, dashboards.
- Ability to deliver presentations, business reviews and articulate value of AI automation in patent workstreams.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple client relationships, deadlines and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with legal-tech SaaS platforms, ideally in the IP/patent domain.
- Understanding of patent workflows (drafting, prosecution, claims strategy) and how AI automation can impact them.
- Experience selling or managing enterprise contracts in the legal or professional-services sector.
